Good to know in Homer Glen
- Grass height: the village code limits grass and weeds to 8 inches on private property and 10 inches on the adjacent right-of-way (Homer Glen Code §155-30). A weekly mowing plan keeps you well under it, even when you're on vacation.
- Downspout outlets: lines discharging over open land shouldn't end on or within 10 feet of the public right-of-way or a neighbor's property line, when feasible (Homer Glen Code §92-71). DJ's plans downspout runs with that in mind.
